I am no longer in jail! After many, many months of confinement, I was released. Now, I have decided to devote the rest of my life to helping both current and former victims of terrible German actions. I have now officially opened the largest house in all of Holland to use as a temporary home for Jews without a place to stay or way to earn money. They can stay as long as they need, as long as they have a purpose. I believe that this is a very good way to get scarred Jews back on their feet. This was Betsie's dream for us once we got out of the German camp. It is just too bad that she couldn't be here today to witness this grand event. I am trying not to seem too depressed while I introduce the new guests to the house. It is still an amazing day for me.
This is the very last post that I shall ever make on this blog. The purpose of this was to show people the tragedies that happened to me during the Holocaust. Now that I am out of German confinement, I have no reason to continue this blog. There for, I bid all of my current viewers farewell. I hope that you all can make well with your life, and I hope that you will use the things that I have written for you and put them to good use.

The Camp
All members of my family were released while in that first prison except for Betsie and I. Once we left that prison, we were sent to a much more cruel and viscous place known as Ravensbruck. Here, thousands of women were forced into a living space that was only meant for a few hundred. We were forced to work extremely hard, and the people who were in charge were very harsh. The only blessings in this terrible place, were the fleas and medicine that were provided. You now are probably wondering, "why fleas?" Well it is because of those horrid beings that the guards never entered our room. This allowed us all to talk freely about whatever we wished. A few months after arriving there though, Betsie became very sick. She was confined to her bed through out the day, and eventually died within the very walls of Ravensbruck. Shortly after she passed, I was allowed to leave. This was one of the best days of my life that could only have been made better by having Betsie with me. It was still wonderful to be leaving, none the less, and so the journey continues...

The Vision
The war has now been going on for months. Our family is more than a little bit involved in it. A few weeks ago, the very night that our beloved queen was over taken by the Germans, I had had a vision. In my vision, I was about half a block away from the Grote Markt, when an odd looking, farm wagon pulled up. It was pulled by four huge black horses. Inside of the wagon, was father, Betsie, my father's friend Pickwick, Toos, Willem, a very young Peter, and me. We could not get out of the terrible thing, and we were then taken far far away, to a horrible place that we did not want to go to. A few nights ago, this vision came true. The majority of my very closest friends and family, were taken by German Nazis to a German prison. That dreadful, miserable place, was the start and end to our many of our family's problems. It was in that very place that my father died. It was in a very similar structure that Betsie got uncontrollably sick, and then died. It is also in the place though, that I discovered my true potential in life. That I finally realized the true power of love, strength, and will power. It was then that I truly began to believe in myself, and that I really started to make a difference.

The Dreaded War
Hello, It is me, Corrie Ten Boom again. Today, I have some good news , and some truly awful news. I will start with the bad information. As of right now, you are probably wondering "what could possibly go wrong in this perfect little town that you call Holland?" Well for starters, our queen was recently overtaken by the truly horrid Germans. Also, to add on to this dread, Jews all over the country have been slowly disappearing. The explanation for the sudden disappearance is a simple, one word answer: Hitler. Adolf Hitler absolutely despises Jews for the absurd reason of thinking that they are not "clean". Because of this, the Jews that had not already either been arrested and killed, had been put into concentration camps. For this reason, many of the remaining Jews have gone into hiding. This leads me to the good news, which is quite exiting if you ask me. My family and I, are now at least somewhat involved, in the hiding and saving of these Jews. As of right now, we have sent several different families in hiding in many locations in the country. We also are in possession of many spare ration cards that we give out to the many Jews in need. That is basically all I have to tell you today. I will write again soon, I promise!

My Introduction
Hello to all who are currently viewing this blog. The following entrees that you are about to read will tell of the tragedies that occurred during an awful event that is known to the world today as the holocaust. This blog is here to show you all my feelings, and my reaction toward this terrible event. Also, I will share with you, my fellow internet users, my story, and how my family and I fit into this huge mess. I hope you will enjoy reading this diary of my life, it is here for not only your pleasure and amusement, but also to educate you on the true story, and how actual victims of World War Two felt.
I will start out by telling you a little bit about myself. My name is Corrie Ten Boom and I am currently 45 years old. I have two sisters (Nollie and Betsie) and one brother (Willem), all of whom are older than me. I live in Holland. Our family owns a cozy little watch shop that is connected to our Beje (house). The watch shop recently celebrated it's hundredth anniversary. As of right now, both Nollie and Willem have married and moved out, and my mother passed away several years ago. So it is just the three of us, my father, Betsie and I. We don't really mind though. I like living in our own cozy little town (at least before the Germans took over). So I guess that is pretty much it for now. I hope you will continue to read about my journey and look at my blog again soon.
